Thousands attend 34th Red, White and Boom in Brentwood | Entertainment

The 34th annual Red, White and Boom in Brentwood Independence Day celebration brought thousands out to the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater in Crockett Park Monday.

Even without frontman Tim Akers, who passed away in 2021 after a lengthy battle with leukemia, The Smoking Section had attendees up and moving before and after a grand fireworks show.

Several food trucks were also on hand to provide food and drinks — including delicious desserts — as attendees braved a hot evening in Brentwood.

Sponsors for the event included Brentwood Academy, First Bank, Franklin Financial Advisors, Tractor Supply Company, Core Civic, TMPartners, State Farm Agent Marti Loftis, Orangetheory Fitness, the Middle Tennessee YMCA, Southern Oak Wealth Group, Gresham Smith, Trustcore, Zeitlin Sotheby’s, The Parent Company, Huntington Learning Center, TrustCore, Avenue Construction and Mix 92.9.
